Tricare/CHAMPVA Claim Summaries

If a insured needs EOB information for several claims that occurred during a specific period of time, the CSR can request a Claim Summary.

 The CSR should use the SSRS report to send the claims summary.

***Note: When you are speaking to the sponsor or adult primary insured and they want a copy of their EOB's please email/mail those to the insured using the SSRS report. 

Only use the address on file when mailing, or the email address on file. Please DO NOT send the EOB's to any other address or email address. 

If you are speaking to the provider. Please explain

You are able to obtain a copy of the provider EOB by visiting our clearing house, Change Healthcare, CHC. 

If you are not the supervisor or administrator please reach out to that person to get registered with our clearing house, Change Healthcare, CHC. 

Once you are registered you will be provided log in credentials to our clearing house and will be able to print and download a copy of your own EOB's. 

The CSR is not to fax or mail a copy of the EOB's to the providers. 

HOW TO SEND AN SSRS REPORT:


1. Access the main Inspro log in screen & Click on "Cleveland SSRS Report"

2. Click on "Claims"

3. Click on the Appropriate Carrier. Please review Inspro for the carrier assigned to the policy.


4. Click on Claims Benefits

5. Type in the XREF/Emerge number in the Member ID field, Until further notice make the first date range  start 01/01/2019 & date range end with today's date.   Then click View Report. 


6. A full claims summary report for the date range requested will populate. Click on the blue disk and select "PDF" 


7. At the bottom of the screen, click on "Open" 


8. A PDF will open. In the upper left corner click on "File", Share File, One the upper Right corner click on the envelop, then click next, copy the email address from Inspro. 

 

9. Paste the email address in the "To" field and make your subject line: Tricare/CHAMPVA Healthcare Supplement --- Sponsor Last Name.
