Routine sports physicals are not covered.

Comprehensive clinical preventative services are covered if TRICARE/CHAMPVA covers these services. 

For clinical preventive exams to be covered by TRICARE/CHAMPVA, they must include an immunization, pap smear, mammogram, colon cancer screening, or prostate cancer screening.

School enrollment physicals for children ages 5-11 are covered.
