Caller Trying to Reach CHAMPVA or Tricare:

You have reached Selman & Company. We are a small, private business in Cleveland, Ohio. We sell Tricare & CHAMPVA supplement policies carried by Hartford Accident & Life, but we are not a part of Tricare or CHAMPVA. CHAMPVA is administered and funded by the Department of Veterans Affairs.

Tricare is administered by the DOD.

The phone number listed for CHAMPVA is 1-800-733-8387 or 1-888-289-2411.

Tricare’s contact number:

East – 1-800-444-5445

TC for Life 1-866-773-0404.

Please contact Tricare or CHAMPVA for more assistance.

P Number

This is the main ID number. For persons who started with ASI, this is a new number.

**EITHER the P-number or the shorter number may be used when a member/provider contacts us or submits an item.**

Emerge Number

This is also an ID number. For persons who started with ASI, this is the old certificate number.

We still use these numbers and we have cross-referenced them with the P-numbers.

Policy Number

The policy number begins with AGP.

This number identifies the blanket policy under which the insured is covered.

It identifies the coverage, not the person. Many people can have the same policy number.

Group Number

We do not use group numbers.
