Look for the record in InsPro first. Even if the application is pending for missing information, you will usually be able to see the pending record in InsPro. These are a few of the status codes the policy may be in when the policy is pending.

These status code can be located by control F and typing in Status Codes in the Tricare training manual. 

You can also find the status codes for Inpro in HelpJuice, by typing status codes. 

If you do not find a record in InsPro, try looking in ImageNow. If you find the application in ImageNow, check to see if there are any sticky notes to read.

If you cannot find a record in InsPro or in ImageNow, please collect the following information and send it to a supervisor for research:

When was the request sent to us?

How was the request sent (mail, fax, file feed from an employer, online via a sitelet etc.)?

If mailed or faxed, please ask for the address or fax number used.

What is the name of the military member?

What is the name of the spouse (if he/she is to be covered)?

What is the SSN of the military member (and also the spouse if he/she is to be covered)?

What is the name of the employer group or the association?
