Tricare/CHAMPVA Calls from Brokers Wanting to Sell TRICARE Supplement

Calls from persons who are interested in becoming a broker for TRICARE Supplement can be transferred to Jessica Zieser at x156. Brokers are persons who identify new groups for us (such as new association groups for Retail or new employer groups for Corporate). They do not help “individuals” sign up for coverage.

There are several brokers we work with. A few of our most important are

Walter & Bridgette Markovsky. They are a husband and wife team. Many of their enrollments are sent to Jutta and Elizabeth via email. Those enrollment forms are placed in the “S” drive followed by and email to our Tricare enrollment team.

Mike Collins and Rebecca Hyman. They are our brokers too. They work together out of Florida. Rebecca will call the call center frequently and ask questions about the enrollment applications they send us. Many of the enrollment applications mail, or emailed to us.

Please answer all their questions regarding a new enrollment.

***Please note: Mike Collins and Rebecca Heiman sale a plan that is exclusive to their business. It is very similar to a corporate plan, there is no Supplement deductible, rates do not increase with age, and there is no Pre-Ex. If a caller wants this plan they must reach out to Mike Collins.

In both cases please check Imagenow to see if the applications are there. Check with Jutta Hiley to see if the applications are in the “S” drive.

Please know there may be a delay seeing the policies in Inspro. You can ask fact find questions to the caller.

Q: When did you sign the application?

Please advise the insured the effective dates are normally the first of the month following the date signed. A welcome package, certificate and ID cards will arrive in the mail within 30 days from the day the policy is loaded into Inspro. Always offer to email the ID cards directly to the insured using the email address on file in Inspro. As a rule, continue to send all attachment emails to the PII email box for delivery with 24-48 hours. If the insured does not have and email address advised to watch their mailbox. 

Please give the insured their P number and invite them to use our eservice portal to register their policy online.
