Do you Take Credit Card Payments

We accept Visa, Discover, and MasterCard.

***ALL PAYMENTS OVER THE PHONE***

As of the 27th day of every month, we are not able to process payments over the phone. We will be able to take payments over the phone as of the 1st of the following month.

Currently, only insureds who are already set up as credit card may pay on a recurring basis by credit card.

Non-recurring credit card payments can be made on eService. A service fee of 3% applies.

We can take a payment over the phone.

The CSR must complete the Credit card form and hand deliver it to a Supervisor or CSR trained to take the payment.

The CSR is not permitted to leave the customers information on the Supervisors desk.

A  payment can only be processed on a policy that is not in A01 status.

The reinstatement rule applies.

The insured must have all back premium paid or post marked 90 days from the paid to date.

For example: If today is 09/18/2020 and the paid to date on the policy is 06/01/2020.

The all back premium must be post marked or applied by 08/31/2020.

However, we must use facts logic and reason when we stick to this rule.

For Example. If the insured has been paying via EFT every month and we have the same situation we have above, we to take into consideration a few variables.

1. Was the premium being applied in arrears?

2. Was the arrears premium payments being applied due to a Selman upload of the policy?

3. Was there a rejection of premium due to a Selman error?

There can be many more reason for us to reinstate the policy. Be sure you review it with Yolonda.

***NOTE: Check the archive documents & Non-Financial Tab for the following to set a time line.

When did the the policy lapse?

Why did the policy lapse?

Is this a corporate policy? If this is a corporate policy we will allow more than 90 days for premium.

Did we send out a List Bill to Direct Bill (LB to DB) notice & when?
