Policyholder List Status Definitions

ACT/ACTIVE: Policies are active and are payroll-deducted
DIR/DIRECT: Policies are active but are billed directly to the policyholder rather than payroll deducted.
PND/ISSUEPENDINGPREMIUM: Policies have been coded to the payroll deduction system but have not yet been issued.
CLD/CLOSED: Applications were submitted to Selman but were not issued for various reasons, i.e., application was incomplete; application was declined for medical reasons; employee requested cancellation prior to issue.
TRM/TERMINATED: Policies were issued and have since been terminated due to a request from the policyholder, or policies have lapsed due to non-payment.
SUBMITTED: Received new production, going thru the process of checking, reconciling, underwriting, then approval to issue; but not yet Issued.  
INCOMPLETE: Application is missing necessary information, and could not be completed to issue a policy.
TRANSITION: Premium Accounting received notice from employer to stop deducting payment or the owner request to be placed on direct bill.
WITHDRAWN: The Employee has decided to cancel their coverage before a record/policy was created.
LAPSE: Policy has been canceled due to no payment being made.
DECLINEMED: Application was denied due to medical eligibility requirements.
DECLINEELIG: Application was denied due to eligibility requirements.
SURRENDER: Policy is terminated per request (after the policy has been issued).
NOT TAKEN: Applicant canceled policy within the 31-day right to review period.
POSTPONED: Applicant was not eligible at the time of application, but may be in the future.
