Where do you direct callers if they are asking about their claim status?
Claims are processed by the Minnesota Life Claim Office. Claim office number is 1-888-658-0193. If you receive a call and the caller is asking questions about the claim, filling out the forms, mailing address, beneficiary, payment amount or benefits payment, warm transfer to above number.
If caller states they are not receiving a response from Minnesota’s claim office, then the CSR may call Minnesota life directly (This number is not to be provided to the caller):
If an individual or branch requests a status after the claim has been submitted, tell them Selman will get an update and email or call them back.

If an individual/family member has their claim number, they can get status updates on the Securian Financial web page by going to: https://www.securian.com/benefits/ssl/home.do
