• The disability model does not require the insured to submit receipts/invoices for the cost of care.
• Benefits are paid automatically upon the insured meeting the benefit eligibility requirements. 
• Care can be provided by a professional caretaker/facility or by an informal caregiver. 
• The benefit amount paid is based on the member’s location (home, nursing home, assisted living, etc.).
