All future purchase offer premiums are calculated at the age the member will be when the inflation increase takes effect.
If the member’s birthday occurs in between the offer being issued and the actual effective date of the increase **AND** the member accepts the offer PRIOR TO that birthday, the premiums will be LOWER than what was quoted in the increase offer.
This possibility is stated/explained on the offer itself. See this email for details and an example: Aetna LTC -- FPO Offers Near a Birthday.pdf. We will use the date received (not the postmark date) when calculating the FPO increase.
