Hello – CHC runs our mail through the USPS system to determine undeliverable items. If USPS is unable to deliver items as addressed those checks & EOB’s are returned to Selman to figure out. It is very possible that the items that haven’t been delivered are here waiting to be worked. Return mail is the lowest priority item to be worked.

You can tell if a check/EOB was returned to Selman by looking in the upper left corner of the document posted in CAS. See yellow highlight below. If the initials printed are one of the following the piece will not be delivered as addressed and will instead come to Selman. If that is the case the CSR should verify the correct mailing address. If these initials are not printed on the pieces that were not received please let me know and I will follow up with CHC.

HU - Documents deemed undeliverable in prior mail packets by the USPS

TW – Terrorist watch – This one is not address related but has to be checked before it can mail out.

UA – Bad delivery method (FedEx to a PO Box, etc)

UN – Bad delivery address

RM – Returned Mail for Claims Clients
