Pregnancy will not be subject to a pre-ex limitation. Additionally, children who are added to the plan within 31 days of birth or adoption will not have a pre-ex period.

The Claims Department will comply with the law as it pertains to pregnancy, and no documentation is needed. For newborn biological children, a copy of the birth certificate will be required. For adopted children, applicants need to submit a copy of the adoption decree or proof of the date of placement.
