Grace Period and Reinstatements

Grace period: 31 There is a 31-day grace period, with an internal 45-day grace period from the payment due date. Reinstatements are permitted. 

If an insured lapsed: They have 14 days from their lapse date to reinstate without evidence of good health. The insured would have to write in with their signature and back payment to request reinstatement to our physical address. 

Reinstatement: Within five years after the due date of the first premium payment in default, this policy, if it has not been surrendered, may be reinstated.  You will be required to submit evidence of good health which Aetna must approve before this policy can be reinstated.  All premiums in default with compound interest at the rate of 6% must be paid.  Any Debt, with interest at the same compound 6% rate from the date of default must be paid or reinstated.
